Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope in Warrenton, MO seeks a dependable Material Handler to support production operations. You will move materials, assist with inventory, and help keep the schedule on track.

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing experience
• Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Able to write, perform basic math, and read a tape measure
• Punctuality and excellent attendance
• Be available for overtime and emergency work

Responsibilities

• Moving materials (primarily glass) using vacuum lift assist equipment, manually lifting, and moving mobile carts from one position/location to another to facilitate the production process
• Understanding the schedule and the inventory requirements to keep production on schedule
• Performing preventative maintenance activities on equipment, such as cleaning and inspecting
• Understanding and applying inspection procedures and tolerances to pass or reject materials and/or products
