Job summary

Kelly Services is hiring a Material Handler at its Youngstown, OH distribution facility, a role with responsibilities in receiving, storing, and shipping materials for a large national distributor of electrical, communications, and industrial products.

The position offers a full-time, daytime-leaning schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM–8:00 PM, with an hourly rate of $18.19. Candidates should have forklift experience, warehouse experience, and the ability to pass a pre-employment physical.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of relevant warehouse experience preferred.
  • Must have forklift experience.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment physical testing.
  • Experience in large warehouse operations preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts.
  • Receive and store incoming materials using the Warehouse Management System.
  • Select, pack, and palletize shipments for outbound delivery.
  • Sort and pack less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments; conduct cycle counts as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, follow all safety procedures, and perform daily safety inspections.

Job description

Kelly is hiring a Material Handler on behalf of a large, established national distributor of electrical, communications, and industrial products at their Youngstown, OH distribution facility.

$18.19 per hour

Monday – Friday, 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Job Responsibilities
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts
  • Receive and store incoming materials using our Warehouse Management System
  • Select, pack, and palletize shipments for outbound delivery
  • Sort and pack less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments; conduct cycle counts as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, follow all safety procedures, and perform daily safety inspections
Requirements
  • Able to perform physical requirements including lifting various loads, climbing ladders, cutting wire, and adapting to warehouse temperatures
  • Comfortable working at heights
  • Good attendance record and strong work ethic
  • Prior large warehouse experience with a Warehouse Management System preferred
  • 2+ years of relevant experience preferred
  • Ability to pass pre-employment physical testing
  • must have forklift experience
