Job summary

Kelly Services in Akron is seeking a Material Handler to support warehouse operations by preparing domestic and export orders, loading trucks and containers, and handling general labor. This temporary role runs 4-6 months.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1-2 years relevant experience, and forklift (tow-motor) operator experience. Candidates must be able to lift up to 63 lbs and wear full PPE. Hours are Monday-Friday 7:00am-2:00pm, with pay at $25 per hour.

Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare domestic and export orders, load trucks and containers, and complete general warehouse labor tasks

• Manage raw materials and finished product inventories

• Unload packaging supplies for process areas (metal and fiber drums)

• Operate shipping department equipment and troubleshoot problems

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years relevant experience

• Tow-motor (forklift) operator experience required

• Physical requirements: ability to sit for long periods (tow-motor), stand for long periods, lift up to 63 lbs., squat, bend, climb ladders, and reach overhead without restrictions

• Must be able to wear full Personal Protective Equipment (including respirator and SCBA)
