Kelly Services in Hicksville, NY is seeking a Warehouse Operator (Temporary) to support daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods. The role ensures accurate inventory management and safe, efficient logistics.

You may operate a forklift, perform cycle counts, and help with QA and inventory control, with forklift certification preferred. The schedule is Mon-Fri 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with occasional weekends based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain organized and clean storage areas.

Warehouse Operator (Temporary)

Pay: $22/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (occasional weekends may be required based on business needs)

Position Summary

The Warehouse Operator is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods. This role ensures accurate inventory management, timely deliveries, and a safe, organized work environment while providing high-quality logistics support.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift in accordance with company and OSHA standards
• Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials following established procedures
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and inventory
• Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Ability to stand for the entire shift

• Ability to work in a production environment with moderate noise levels
• Steel-toe shoes required for the entire shift

Additional Requirements

Candidates must be able to read, write, and communicate fluently in either English or Spanish due to onsite safety requirements
