Job summary

Kelly is seeking a Material Handler in Milwaukee, WI to pick/pack orders, load/unload materials, and move items around the site. The role involves operating forklifts and other material handling equipment while maintaining safety and accuracy in all tasks.

The position offers a first shift (Mon-Fri 5:00am-1:30pm) with potential overtime and a duration of 3 months, with possible contract-to-hire depending on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

  • Able to frequently lift, push, carry, and slide packages up to 75 lbs.
  • Fast-paced warehouse environment with organized processes.
  • Read and interpret labels and product documentation.
  • Good time management and attention to detail.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to stand and move throughout the facility in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

  • Picking and packing orders and material handling.
  • Load, unload, and move materials within the site.
  • Fill orders and issue materials per requests.
  • Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, etc.).
  • Pack and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Kelly is seeking Material Handler candidates in Milwaukee, WI at an electrical distributor.

Shift & Pay Rates

1st Shift - Monday-Friday 5:00am-1:30pm (or until work is done; potential for regular OT)

  • Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
  • Weekly Pay
  • Quick Start
  • Duration: 3 months Possible Contract to Hire
This job might be an outstanding fit if you are able to:
  • Picking and packing orders, material handling, truck loading.
  • Work independently to load, unload, and move materials within or near work site.
  • Fill orders and issues materials and supplies per requests.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts (sit down/stand up), pallet jacks, cherry pickers, walking riders, reach trucks, EZGo carts, hand trucks or dollies.
  • Pack and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Preferred Experience/Skills:
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, organized, and positive warehouse environment.
  • Able to comprehend oral and written communication skills to effectively read labels, tickets, and other product documentation.
  • Ability to frequently lift, push, carry, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to stand and move throughout the warehouse in various temperatures.
  • Able to accurately use basic math skills.
  • Attention to detail and good time management skills.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
