Job summary

Weir Group in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Material Handler to support inventory and material movement onsite. This role requires 1–3 years of warehouse experience, forklift operation, and adherence to safety protocols.

The position runs Monday–Friday 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM with overtime and occasional Saturdays for inventory or special projects. You will load/unload trucks, conduct daily crane and forklift inspections, use ERP systems, and collaborate with a small team to maintain accurate inventory

Qualifications

  • Warehouse experience with 1–3 years in material handling and forklift operation.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory and material management.
  • Basic technical proficiency with ERP systems or similar technology.

Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management: Accurately pull materials and plates for job packets, conduct inventory reporting to leads, and support inventory control efforts to ensure smooth operations.
  • Material Handling: Load and unload trucks using forklifts and overhead cranes, handling loads up to 30,000 lbs safely and efficiently.
  • Equipment Operation & Safety: Perform daily forklift and crane inspections, complete safety check-offs, and maintain compliance with all safety protocols.
