Job summary

Weir in Phoenix, AZ seeks a on-site Warehouse Associate to manage inventory and move materials. Work schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM with overtime as needed and occasional Saturdays for inventory or special projects.

Responsibilities include pulling materials, operating forklifts and overhead cranes up to 30,000 lbs, performing safety inspections, and ensuring accurate inventory reporting. Onsite role with minimal travel and a strong safety focus.

Qualifications

  • Warehouse experience with 1–3 years in material handling.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
  • Basic technical proficiency, comfortable with ERP systems or similar technology.
  • Commitment to safety and following established protocols.

What You’ll Do
  • Inventory Management: Accurately pull materials and plates for job packets, conduct inventory reporting to leads, and support inventory control efforts to ensure smooth operations.
  • Material Handling: Load and unload trucks using forklifts and overhead cranes, handling loads up to 30,000 lbs safely and efficiently.
  • Equipment Operation & Safety: Perform daily forklift and crane inspections, complete safety check-offs, and maintain compliance with all safety protocols.
  • Travel Requirements: Minimal to no travel required; role is fully onsite.

What You’ll Bring
Must-haves:
  • Warehouse experience with 1-3 years in material handling and forklift operation
