Job Description

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for supporting the designated division or department through handling, organization, and record keeping of needed materials. This includes inventory control, maintaining accurate equipment and supply records, and facilitating the stocking and restocking of materials throughout a designated shop area. The primary duties and responsibilities include:

• Receiving, stocking, and record keeping of materials.
• Communicating with staff and management to identify material needs.
• Filling workstations with appropriate hardware and materials.
• Maintaining records using scanners or designated computer programs.
• Using a forklift to transport, load, and unload materials (if trained and certified).
• Adhering to safety policies to prevent incidents.
• Following manufacturing policies to ensure consistent production.
• Following standard work/process instructions and identifying risks to product quality.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to walk, stand, and be physically active for extended periods.
• Ability to learn computer systems, databases, and software.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Fluent in English and able to communicate with co-workers.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Organized work area maintenance.
• Self-motivated and proactive attitude.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
