As a Material Handler, you will support the division or department through handling, organizing, and record keeping of materials. Responsibilities include inventory control, maintaining accurate records, and stocking materials in designated shop areas. The primary duties are outlined below:

Job Duties

1. Receive, stock, and record materials.
2. Communicate with staff and management to identify material needs.
3. Stock workstations with hardware and materials.
4. Maintain records using scanners or computer programs.
5. Use a forklift for transporting materials, if qualified.
6. Follow all safety policies to prevent incidents.
7. Adhere to manufacturing policies to ensure production quality.
8. Follow standard work instructions and identify risks to quality.

Job Requirements

1. High School Diploma or GED.
2. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
3. Physical ability to walk, stand, and be active for extended periods.
4. Willingness to learn computer systems and software.
5. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
6. Fluent in English and able to communicate effectively.
