Job summary

Kelly Services in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Material Handler to join a premier manufacturing client. Pay rate is $19.50/hour with a Monday–Friday 8am–5pm shift.

You will support daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include kitting and packing orders, operating pallet jacks and forklifts, receiving inventory, updating the warehouse management system, and maintaining a safe, clean workspace.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of warehouse experience required.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Reliable attendance and good communication skills required.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse software.
• Steel-toe boots required; PPE and tools provided otherwise.

Responsibilities

• Kitting and packing orders to prepare for shipment.
• Operating pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts.
• Unloading deliveries and receiving inventory accurately.
• Storing products and updating the warehouse management system.
• Selecting, packing, and palletizing customer orders; assisting with shipments.
• Maintaining a clean, safe warehouse and performing daily safety checks.

Pay Rate:$19.50/hour

Shift: M-F 8am to 5pm

What’s a typical day as Material Handler? You’ll be:

• Kitting and packing orders to prepare for shipment
  
• Operating warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts
  
• Unloading deliveries and accurately receiving inventory
  
• Storing products and updating the warehouse management system
  
• Selecting, packing, and palletizing customer orders; assisting with shipments
  
• Maintaining a clean, safe warehouse and performing daily safety checks

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have 1-2 years of warehouse experience (required)
  
• Can meet physical requirements: lifting up to 70 lbs, cutting wire, climbing ladders, and working comfortably at heights
  
• Demonstrate reliable attendance and strong communication skills
  
• Possess basic computer skills
  
• Own ankle-high steel-toe work boots (required); all other PPE and tools are provided
