Job summary

KEITH Walking Floor Systems is seeking team members for the Madras, Oregon facility. Shift: 5:00am – 3:30pm, Monday–Thursday, with overtime possible. The role involves transporting materials, inspecting for defects, and supporting loading/unloading operations in a lean manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates communicate in English, are able to work independently, and are willing to undergo pre-employment drug screening. Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• English communication (speaking, reading, writing) required.
• May be required to pass pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials between loading, processing, manufacturing, and storage areas using material handling equipment.

• Operate other machinery in the area.

KEITH Walking Floor Systems provide horizontal loading/unloading solutions for bulk materials, pallets, bales and rolls. The company’s state-of-the-art production facility in Madras, Oregon operates using Lean Manufacturing practices. Essential Functions

• Transport material between loading, processing, manufacturing, and storage areas by using a variety of material handling equipment.
• Inspect materials to identify problems or defects.
• Perform general physical activities to load, unload, sort, and move products and materials.
• Review documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Perform tasks in multi-temperature environments indoors and outdoors.
• Operates other machinery in the area.
• Meets agreed upon manufacturing goals on time.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Able to communicate in English with team members (Speak and reading, writing ability required.)
• May be required to pass employer performance tests including pre-employment drug screening.
• Ability and willingness to follow directions as well as the ability to work independently requiring little or no supervision.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future.

Working Conditions

• Exposure to continual noise daily from machines.
• Exposure to extreme weather conditions.

Physical Requirements

• Able to sit or stand for 8 to 10 hours at a time.
