Job summary

KEITH Walking Floor Systems in Madras, Oregon is seeking a Machine Shop Team Leader for the 5:00am–3:30pm shift. The role focuses on leading a production team, ensuring safety, quality, and Lean practices in a fast-paced plant.

You will respond to Andon, cover absences, train staff, enforce standardized work, perform daily QC audits, participate in safety meetings, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining 6S and meeting manufacturing goals. Competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must communicate in English with team members (speaking, reading, writing).
• Able to read a tape measure, calipers, and other precision measuring equipment.
• May be required to pass pre-employment drug screening.
• One year of KEITH experience preferred.
• Machining experience preferred.
• Lean experience preferred.
• Able to work without sponsorship in the U.S.

KEITH Walking Floor Systems provide horizontal loading/unloading solutions for bulk materials, pallets, bales and rolls. The companys state-of-the‑art production facility in Madras, Oregon operates using Lean Manufacturing practices. We are seeking high performance team members with a commitment to quality work with a positive attitude.

Essential Functions

• Respond to Andon calls by team members.
• Cover team member absenteeism.
• Team member training and cross‑training.
• Ensure standardized work is followed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Able to communicate in English with team members (Speak and reading, writing ability required.)
• May be required to pass employer performance tests including pre‑employment drug screening.
• One year of KEITH experience preferred.
• Machining experience preferred.
• Able to read a tape measure, calipers, and other precision measuring equipment.
• Lean experience preferred.
• Lead by example with a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel, Access and Outlook.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future.
