Kelly Services in Irving, TX is hiring a Material Handler to support operations at a leading distribution center. The role runs 1st shift from 9am to 6pm, Monday through Friday, with a pay rate of $19.00 per hour.

You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, receive and store materials, and help prepare shipments. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in warehousing, are physically capable of the duties, and can pass a pre-employment physical.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to lift varying loads and climb ladders.
• Strong attendance and work ethic.
• 2+ years warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience with large warehouses and WMS preferred.
• Pass pre-employment physical testing.

Responsabilités

• Operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts.
• Receive and store incoming material per warehouse management system processes.
• Select, pack, and palletize shipments.
• Sort and pack less-than-truckload shipments; conduct cycle counts.
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse; perform daily inspections.
• Report to warehouse supervisors or managers.

What’s a typical day as Material Handler? You’ll be:

• Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts.

• Receiving and storing incoming material according to warehouse management system processes.

• Selecting, packing, and palletizing shipments.

• Sorting and packing less-than-truckload shipments, conducting cycle counts.

• Maintaining a clean and safe warehouse by following all safety procedures and performing daily inspections.

• Reporting to warehouse supervisors or managers.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Are at least 18 years old (required).

• Have no fear of heights and can perform physical tasks such as lifting various loads, cutting wire, climbing ladders, and working in varying temperatures.

• Demonstrate good attendance and a strong work ethic.

• Have 2+ years of experience in a warehouse environment (preferred).

• Bring prior experience with large warehouse operations and warehouse management systems (preferred).

• Can pass pre-employment physical testing.
