Job summary

Daikin Applied in Dayton, OH is hiring for a manufacturing picker/packer role. The position offers starting wages of $18.00-$19.00 per hour, plus a $1 shift differential for 2nd shift and a weekday schedule.

Responsibilities include reading work orders, loading and unloading materials with forklift or pallet jack, packing cartons for shipment, and ensuring accurate, damage-free packaging. Benefits include health, retirement plans, tuition reimbursement, and PTO.

Qualifications

• High School Education/GED or equivalent experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to read and understand written English.
• Experience in a fast-paced production environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders or tickets to identify materials to pick and move.
• Load/unload materials using pallets, forklift, or pallet jack.
• Pack and prepare cartons for shipping to customers.
• Ensure accurate order packaging to prevent damage.
• Operate pallet jack and forklift regularly.
• Meet quality and productivity targets.
