Daikin Applied is seeking candidates for a 2nd shift manufacturing role in Staunton, VA. The starting wage is $28.45 per hour with a $2.30 shift differential, typical 2nd shift schedule Monday–Friday, 1:50 pm – 9:50 pm.

The position requires reading blueprints and performing quality checks, operating hand tools and equipment, and maintaining accurate records in electronic systems. A high school diploma or GED (or 2 years of related experience) is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, or 2 years of related experience in manufacturing/production.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and work from blueprints, BOMs, routing sheets, OMS documents, and other instructions.
• Operate tools and equipment to assemble, move, and finish components and final products.
• Perform quality checks and record results to ensure prints and standards are met.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance tasks as scheduled.
• Maintain records in electronic systems and report line issues promptly.
