Job summary

Daikin Applied Ltd. is hiring for an entry-level production/picking role in Dayton, Ohio.

The position offers a starting wage of $18.00 to $19.00 per hour, plus a $1 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift, and requires availability on 1st or 2nd shift, Monday–Friday. Qualifications

• Must be able to lift/push/pull materials and stand for long periods in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with PPE.
• Ability to use hand tools for extended periods.
• Ability to read and understand written English.
• High School Education/GED or minimum 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing/production environment.

Responsibilities

• Reads work orders or pick tickets to ascertain materials or containers to be picked, moved, or processed.
• Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand, forklift, pallet jack, conveyor, or other material handling equipment.
• Loads materials into vehicles and installs banding and stretch wrapping to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
• Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area.
• Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet.
• Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information or cases or containers.
• Packs and prepares cartons for shipping to customers.
• Ensures accuracy of order and security of packaging to avoid damage in shipment.
• Operate a pallet jack and forklift on a regular basis.
• Able to meet quality and productivity deliverables.
• Adheres to all safety policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned

Your Responsibilities

Your Qualifications
