Daikin Applied in Dayton, OH seeks a manufacturing associate for 1st shift. You will follow safety policies, prepare crates, and transport materials with powered equipment. Reading diagrams and basic math are essential, along with using WMS and scanners to complete daily tasks.

• High School Education/GED OR Minimum 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Ability to lift, push, and/or pull materials, stand for majority of the shift, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining proper PPE.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• High school or equivalent required; prior production/manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Follows safety policies and work instructions.
• Prepares, cuts, secures and assembles crates to prevent product damage.
• Safely transport materials using PIV, including pallet jack and forklift.
• Read diagrams, perform math, and follow step-by-step tasks.
• Use WMS and handheld scanners for daily tasks; identify quality issues and escalate as needed.
