Job summary

Adecco is assisting a local customer in Cumberland, MD, in their search for Material Handler roles. This position offers a fast-paced environment with opportunities to build hands-on forklift and inventory control skills within a supportive team culture.

Compensation includes $20.00 per hour with a standard shift from 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Sunday to Wednesday. Adecco provides access to Aspire Academy and a range of employee benefits for eligible associates.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of warehouse, material handling, or logistics experience.
• Must be willing to work any shift in a customer-facing environment.
• Forklift experience preferred and ability to lift at least 35 lbs.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of inventory processes are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and move materials safely using a forklift.
• Process and handle daily parcel shipments and material deliveries.
• Support locomotive diesel shop technicians by supplying required materials.
• Perform inventory counts, stock adjustments, and maintain inventory accuracy.

Pay Details
