Adecco is hiring a Material Handler in Rochester, NY. You will receive, inspect, and verify shipments, use RF scanners to process shipments, and move goods using forklifts and pallet jacks.

Responsibilities include picking, staging, and delivering materials while maintaining a clean, safe workspace in a fast-paced warehouse. Compensation includes weekly pay from $16.00 to $19.00 per hour, with comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-3 years of warehousing or material handling experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely
• Strong teamwork and independent work skills
• Capable of multitasking and performing effectively under pressure

• Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventory processes
• Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging and documentation
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment in line with 5S standards

About the Role:

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and accurately verifying incoming shipments. You will utilize RF scanners to process shipments, pick and stage orders, and safely operate equipment such as carts, dollies, forklifts, and pallet jacks to move large quantities of merchandise within the warehouse. Your efforts will help maintain smooth supply chain operations and ensure timely delivery of goods.
