Job summary

Worley Group, Inc. is seeking a Material Controller II in Brownsville, Texas to manage material planning, tracking and distribution for complex projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related discipline.
• Typically 5+ years of experience in material control, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, or procurement support.
• Experience with industrial construction, EPC, energy, LNG, petrochemical, mining, or major capital projects is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, bills of materials and product specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining and operating project material control systems.
• Review drawings and BOMs to determine material requirements.
• Document material requirements including codes, descriptions, suppliers and ordering information.
• Verify requirements against inventory and procurement records and adjust quantities.
• Support forecasting, planning and tracking for assigned projects.
• Maintain accurate records of receipts, inventory, storage locations and movements.
• Coordinate receipt, inspection, storage, issuance and distribution of materials and equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, warehouse, logistics, and construction teams to ensure availability.
• Monitor inventory levels and identify shortages or discrepancies.
• Support reconciliation and inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Assist with material status reporting and forecasts.
• Review material transactions and ensure accurate data entry in systems.
• Investigate variances and recommend solutions.
• Assist in construction readiness through material planning and coordination.
• Support documentation requirements and material identification.
