Job summary

Worley is hiring a Material Controller II to support material control processes across construction projects in the energy and resources sectors. You will help ensure materials and equipment are planned, received, stored, tracked, and distributed to support safe, efficient project execution.

Working with engineering, procurement, warehouse, and field teams, you will ensure material availability and accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle, contributing to schedule adherence and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Typically 5+ years of relevant experience in material control, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, or procurement support.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate project material control systems.
• Review drawings, BOMs, and product specs to determine material requirements.
• Document material requirements with codes, descriptions, manufacturers and suppliers.
• Verify materials against inventory and procurement records; adjust quantities.
• Forecast, plan, and track materials for projects.
• Maintain records of receipts, inventory, storage, movements and distributions.
• Coordinate receipt, inspection, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, warehouse, logistics, and construction teams to ensure material availability.
• Monitor inventory levels and identify shortages or discrepancies.
• Support reconciliation, reporting and forecasts.
