Job summary

Worley is seeking a Material Controller II to ensure timely and accurate material availability for construction and engineering activities. You will manage material control systems, coordinate with engineering and procurement teams, and ensure compliance with safety and sustainability standards.

The role requires a university degree in a related discipline and proven experience in material control or logistics within energy sectors.

Qualifications

University degree in supply chain, engineering, or related discipline.
Experience in material control, supply chain, or logistics within energy/chemicals/resources sectors.
Ability to plan and execute complex material control tasks with minimal supervision.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Review blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine material requirements for construction and installation activities.
Manage and maintain material control systems for accurate tracking, receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams to align material availability with schedules and sustainability objectives.
Validate inventory levels, adjust material quantities, and ensure compliance with codes and specifications.
Document material requirements comprehensively for procurement and order processing.
Collaborate with site teams to ensure timely delivery in correct quantities.
Provide technical guidance and support to team members to foster collaboration.
Identify issues in material control and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Ensure all material control activities comply with safety, quality, and sustainability standards.
