Job summary

Valmont Industries, Inc. in Claremore, OK seeks a Material Controller to move product and manage material flow in production. You will receive, issue, and move materials efficiently to support on-time manufacturing.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, forklift and overhead crane experience, and the ability to prioritise tasks. Starting pay is $26.24 per hour with increases at 90 days and six months.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year experience in a heavy manufacturing environment is desired.
• Prior forklift and overhead crane experience.
• Ability to prioritize work in order to complete deadlines.
• Basic computer knowledge and an understanding of job-related programs.

Responsibilities

• Provides accurate and timely documentation of material and product movement to ensure the accuracy of the inventory system.
• Interprets production plans and shipping orders to provide material handling and shipping at required levels.
• Complete regular cycle counts under accounting guidelines.
• Deliver an on-time product without errors.
• Use forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials and products.
