Job summary

Valmont Industries, Inc. is seeking a Material Controller I in Columbus, NE to maintain efficient workflow in production by handling materials and products. You will receive and move items, document movements, and ensure timely distribution to meet production schedules.

Responsibilities include operating material handling equipment, interpreting plans, inventory counting, and upholding top safety practices. This role supports a weekend shift with extended 12-hour days and attendance pay.

Qualifications

• Must be forklift and crane certified.

Responsibilities

• Receive, issue, and move Valmont materials and products safely and efficiently.
• Document material and product movement accurately and promptly.
• Distribute materials to production to meet needs.
• Operate forklifts and overhead crane.
• Interpret production plans and shipping orders for material handling.
• Count inventory and reconcile discrepancies.
• Maintain safety practices per Valmont policies.
