Valmont Industries in Columbus, NE is seeking a motivated Material Controller I to maintain efficient workflow in production areas by handling Valmont materials and products. You will receive, issue, and move items safely, document movements, and support production needs.

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, at least one year in manufacturing, the ability to obtain forklift and crane certification, and a strong commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift and crane certification preferred or must be able to obtain.
• At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing or fabrication.

Responsabilités

• Receive, issue, and physically move Valmont materials and products in a safe and efficient manner
• Provide accurate and timely documentation of material and product movement
• Provide accurate and timely distribution of materials to production to meet production needs
• Operate forklifts and overhead crane
• Interpret production plans and shipping orders to provide the required levels of material handling and shipping
• Count material inventory and reconcile inventory discrepancies
• Demonstrate safety practices conforming to Valmont policies
