Job description

GM Supplier Sinjin Texas is Hiring a Production Control Specialist

We are seeking a Material Control Specialist to join our team! The Material Control Specialist will coordinate the flow of inbound/outbound product and materials, as well as improve freight efficiency times.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with monitoring of materials inventory to determine production schedules and downtimes
• Confer with other departments to determine progress of work and completion dates
• Compile reports on costs and inventory levels
• Review and communicate production status reports
• Serve as point of contact between production and planning teams
• Assist warehouse personnel in the movement of required work in their area. Arrange materials within racks, bins, and shelves to facilitate efficient storage of parts and materials. Prepare and complete necessary paperwork.
• Track and log all product inventory, ensuring there are no discrepancies or losses
• Accept deliveries or company products and store them accordingly
• Address and resolve complaints about products, shipping speed, damaged items
• Perform other related duties as required

Education:

High School Diploma or GED

Qualifications:

• Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) is a plus
• 2+ years working in a warehouse environment, preferably manufacturing warehousing
• 2-3 years of Production Control experience
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Proven proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong project management skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work well in team settings
