Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist with 1–5 years of experience in a regulated medical device manufacturing or distribution environment. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, performing cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with FDA, ISO 13485, and GMP regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy across multiple systems and physical locations.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly and effectively.
  • Ensure proper inventory storage, labeling, and segregation according to quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Support incoming and outgoing material transactions, including receiving, picking, and shipping.
  • Work closely with Quality, Production, and Procurement teams to maintain uninterrupted material flow.
  • Assist with inventory-related root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain documentation in compliance with internal SOPs, FDA regulations, and ISO 13485 NetSuite standards.
  • Operate ERP systems to track inventory movements and adjustments.
  • Support internal and external audits as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–5 years of experience in inventory control within a regulated medical device or life sciences environment.
  • Strong understanding of inventory principles (FIFO, lot tracking, etc.).
  • Familiarity with GMP, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, and ISO 13485 requirements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems; experience with NetSuite ERP software preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate in cross-functional teams.

Preferred:

  • Certification in APICS/CPIM or similar is a plus.
  • Experience with Kanban or Lean Manufacturing inventory practices.
