Staffmark Group in Riverside, CA is seeking a Material Buyer to manage inventory and purchasing for production schedules. The role offers a strong fiduciary focus on inventory levels, supplier coordination, and ERP-based planning in a manufacturing setting.

The candidate should have 5+ years in inventory planning or materials management, with ERP experience and strong analytical skills. Onsite work and competitive weekly pay are included in a professional environment.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• College degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field preferred.
• APICS/ASCM CPIM/CSCP certifications are a plus.
• ERP system experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Manage inventory levels to support production schedules and customer demand.
• Make purchasing decisions based on demand forecasts, inventory risk, and supplier lead times.
• Monitor inventory performance, service levels, stock availability, and inventory investment.
• Analyze demand trends and respond to planning exceptions, shortages, and supplier constraints.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, suppliers, and operations teams to prevent stockouts.
• Utilize ERP and planning tools to maintain accurate inventory and purchasing records.
• Reduce excess and obsolete inventory while improving inventory turns.
• Support on-time delivery goals and supply chain performance metrics.
• Maintain compliance with company procedures and inventory control processes.
