Staffmark Group in Riverside, CA is seeking a Material Buyer to manage inventory and purchasing for production schedules. The role offers a strong fiduciary focus on inventory levels, supplier coordination, and ERP-based planning in a manufacturing setting.

The candidate should have 5+ years in inventory planning or materials management, with ERP experience and strong analytical skills. Onsite work and competitive weekly pay are included in a professional environment.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• College degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field preferred.
• APICS/ASCM CPIM/CSCP certifications are a plus.

Pay Rate: $32.00 - $37.00 per hour (Depending on experience)

Schedule: Monday - Friday | Start Time Between 7:00 AM & 8:30 AM

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• College degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field preferred
• APICS/ASCM certifications (CPIM, CSCP) are a plus
• ERP system experience required

Experience Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in inventory planning, purchasing, or materials management within a manufacturing environment
• Experience owning inventory performance, service levels, and inventory turns
• Strong understanding of inventory control principles, including reorder points, safety stock, EOQ, lead times, and demand planning
• Experience managing high-value inventory and supplier relationships
• Proficiency with ERP systems and inventory planning software
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Experience in ISO/QMS manufacturing environments preferred
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods
• Frequent keyboarding, data entry, and computer use
• Occasional walking in warehouse and production areas
• Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs. when necessary
• Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing environment
