Location : Savannah, GA | Payrate: $80.52/hour | Schedule: 1st shift, 7am to 5:30pm
PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading aerospace company to find an experienced Material and Processes Engineer ready to tackle complex technical challenges and drive innovation. In this high-impact role, you’ll lead major engineering projects, make authoritative technical decisions, and develop solutions that influence critical aerospace programs.
Lead engineering projects of major complexity within established scope.
Make technical decisions and recommendations that significantly impact engineering activities.
Apply advanced engineering principles, theories, and specialized expertise to solve critical problems.
Lead the development of innovative engineering concepts and solutions.
Independently identify improved methods and procedures to optimize product performance, cost, and schedule.
Work with significant autonomy and sound engineering judgment to achieve project objectives.
Develop engineering standards, processes, and technical guides.
Plan and lead investigations in areas where established engineering precedents may not exist.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and perform additional duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related applicable curriculum, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
13 years of experience in a specific technical discipline OR 15 years of broad engineering experience across multiple technical disciplines with a bachelor’s degree.
Advanced technical expertise and demonstrated ability to independently solve complex engineering problems.
Strong technical judgment, analytical skills, and decision-making abilities.
Ability to lead major engineering initiatives and communicate technical recommendations effectively.
Master’s or PhD in Engineering or a related field.
Experience developing engineering standards, innovative technologies, or solutions where established precedents are limited.
Broad experience across multiple engineering disciplines.

Pay Details: $80.52 per hour
