Job summary

Cheyenne Fire Rescue is seeking a Community EMS Medication Assisted Therapy Program Manager to develop and manage the MAT program under Opioid Settlement Funds. This temporary, non-emergency role coordinates with internal teams and external agencies to drive program growth.

The position requires CMP–Clinician endorsement and Wyoming EMS certification, with emphasis on data tracking, policy development, and grant opportunities. Collaboration and delegation are essential.

Qualifications

• Community Paramedic – Clinician endorsement through the Wyoming Office of EMS.
• Current State of Wyoming or NREMT Emergency Medical Technician certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operations of the Community EMS MAT Program under the CEMS Coordinator.
• Develop a process for tracking data and metrics to show MAT program efficacy.
• Procure, track and store all MAT program equipment.
• Coordinate with outside agencies in the MAT Program realm.
• Pursue grant opportunities, build the annual budget and financially manage the Program.
• Develop and maintain MAT specific policies and protocols (annual review).
• Maintain active Community Paramedic-Clinician endorsement through the Wyoming Office of EMS.
• Conduct MAT patient encounters in scheduled, non-emergency settings; no 911 responses.
