As the MAT program is still in its early stages of establishment, this role requires a professional who excels in collaboration, critical thinking, time management, and effective delegation. Additionally, the Program Manager will play a pivotal role within the Medication-Assisted Therapy program, coordinating efforts with internal teams and external agencies to ensure the program’s success and growth. The Program Manager performs these duties under the direction of the CEMS Coordinator, who retains ultimate responsibility for the MAT Program.Position Scope: This is a temporary position funded through Opioid Settlement Funds. All MAT Program duties, including patient contact, are performed in scheduled, non-emergency settings (e.g., planned follow-up visits and program coordination). Because the MAT Program constitutes new work created by the availability of Opioid Settlement Funds rather than a reallocation of existing work, establishment and staffing of this position does not constitute a permanent transfer, reassignment, or reduction of established CEMS/EMS work, and does not diminish, duplicate, or otherwise infringe upon the duties of the CEMS Coordinator, Firefighter, Lieutenant of Suppression, or other CFR members.
