Job summary

WestCare Foundation in Las Vegas, NV is hiring for a Counseling position supporting the MAT Mobile program. You will deliver individual, group, and family counseling and document clinical records per policy.

Under supervision, you will participate in treatment teams, assist with crisis intervention, and follow WestCare procedures while promoting evidence-based practices and client safety.

Qualifications

• Must be able to apply to the Nevada Board for the CADC-Intern certification; 60 college credits required.
• Pass a first-level and background clearance (NABS) as applicable.
• Education: Associate Degree from a college/university in social work, psychology, education counseling or related field recognized by Nevada.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family counseling for substance use disorders.
• Complete documentation for the clinical record in the WestCare Client Data System.
• Attend Interdisciplinary Treatment Team meetings and assist with crisis intervention when needed.
• Ensure delivery of evidence-based counseling within approved curricula and WestCare policies.
