Job summary

WestCare Inc. is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician in Las Vegas, NV to support counselors in delivering individual, group, and family counseling services.

You will help implement the ISP, complete daily notes, and participate in treatment team meetings while ensuring client safety. Under supervision, you will assist with crisis intervention, de-escalation, and carry out the approved curriculum for group and individual sessions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate/Bachelor degree preferred in social/behavioral or behavioral sciences.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group and family counseling under supervision.
• Assist with crisis intervention and safety planning.
• Complete documentation for clinical records and ISP implementation as directed.
• Attend interdisciplinary treatment team meetings and participate in weekly reviews.
• Carry out assigned duties including transportation, supervision, and data logging.
• Follow WestCare policies and contribute to overall program operations.
