Job summary

WestCare Inc in Las Vegas is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to assist counselors in delivering individual, group and family counseling, and to document required notes for clinical records, including ISP implementation and daily/weekly reviews.

Under supervision, you will help with crisis intervention, de-escalation, and monitoring of client behavior, participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings, and ensure proper client care and safety across shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED with strong preference for Associate or Bachelor Degree in social or behavioral services field.
• Must pass background clearance and have valid driver's license.
• Vaccination requirements may apply per local/state/funder rules; HR will inform if needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group and family counseling under Counselor supervision.
• Assist with crisis intervention and de-escalation.
• Complete documentation for clinical records and ISP implementation.
