Job summary

WestCare Foundation in Las Vegas, NV seeks a Behavioral Health Technician to support counseling services under a Counselor Level II/III. You will help implement the ISP, document daily notes, and participate in treatment team meetings to ensure quality client care.

The role requires crisis intervention skills, strong communication, and the ability to manage routine duties in a fast-paced setting. Must be able to complete paperwork and follow WestCare policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; higher degree preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain client confidentiality and professional ethics.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, provide individual, group and family counseling.
• Assist with crisis intervention and de-escalation to ensure safety.
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings.
• Complete documentation for clinical records and ISP implementation.
• Provide transportation as directed and maintain data logs.
