Job summary

The Augusta National Golf Club is seeking hospitality-minded servers for the Masters Tournament. You will greet guests, take orders, and deliver food and beverages with a focus on friendly, timely service while adhering to club standards.

This seasonal role requires at least 18 years of age, prior serving experience preferred, and the stamina to work in hot or adverse conditions. Pay rate is $14.00 per hour, with opportunities to build connections with members and patrons.

Qualifications

• Augusta National's practice requires candidates to be at least 18 years of age.
• Prior serving experience preferred.
• Displays interpersonal skills to work within a team environment.
• Ability to work in conditions that may include heat, cold, rain or other adverse conditions.
• Requires stooping, bending, lifting and transporting of objects up to 30 pounds.
• Requires sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
• Displays integrity and sincerity interacting with others.

Responsibilities

• Greets and directs all members, players, caddies and patrons in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
• Maintains full knowledge of all menu, bar selections and standardized abbreviations on orders.
• Places orders into the kitchen and communicates any special requests.
• Serves food and beverages using the proper sequence of service and serving techniques suggesting desserts, coffee and other menu items after meal.
• Remains attentive to patrons during the dining experience, providing patrons with any additional items as needed.
• Sets tables according to restaurant standards.
• Ensures safety, cleanliness, sanitation and presentation of all restaurant and kitchen spaces.
• Completes all opening, closing and side work duties.
• Attends all pre-meal meetings as requested by the Restaurant Supervisor.
