Job summary

Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, GA, is seeking a Greeter for the Masters Tournament. You’ll greet members, players, caddies and patrons in a friendly, courteous manner and communicate entry guidelines to ensure all service meets Club standards.

The role includes handling merchandise returns, directing patrons to shop areas, enforcing the No Drinks Allowed policy, and assisting with security measures at checkout and shipping areas.

Qualifications

• Displays interpersonal skills to work within a team environment.
• Ability to work in conditions that may include heat, cold, rain or other adverse conditions.
• Requires stooping, bending, lifting and transporting of objects up to 30 pounds.
• Requires sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
• Displays integrity and sincerity interacting with others.

Responsibilities

• Greets and directs all members, players, caddies and patrons in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
• Communicates "No Drinks Allowed" policy prior to entering.
• Bags all merchandise being brought back into the shop by patrons, sealing it with a bag sealer for security purposes.
• Directs patrons to appropriate areas of the shop.
• Directs patrons outside the exit to the checkstand and shipping area.
• Maintains the confidentiality of all Club business.
• Demonstrates a commitment to upholding professional standards in the work environment.
• Performs other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job.
• Attends mandatory orientation and training.
• Required to work schedule as defined by department to include holidays, weekends and overtime as needed.
