Job summary

Augusta National Golf Club seeks a friendly Server for the Masters Tournament. The role focuses on hospitality, timely service and brand standards. You will greet guests, relay orders to the kitchen and suggest items after meals, while maintaining table settings and cleanliness.

Pay rate is $14.00 per hour. The position requires 18+, prior serving experience preferred, and the ability to work in varying weather, with occasional lifting and long periods on your feet.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior serving experience preferred.
• Able to work in heat, cold, rain or other adverse conditions.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Able to sit or stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct members, players, caddies, and patrons professionally.
• Maintain knowledge of the menu, bar items and order abbreviations.
• Enter orders into the kitchen and communicate special requests.
• Serve courses and suggest desserts and beverages after meals.
• Be attentive to patrons and offer additional items as needed.
• Set tables per restaurant standards.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, sanitation, and presentation of spaces.
• Complete opening, closing and side work duties.
• Attend pre-meal meetings as requested by Restaurant Supervisor.

The Server is primarily responsible for providing friendly, hospitable and timely service, ensuring all service meets Club standards.

Pay Rate: $14.00/hr

Essential Functions of the Job

• Greets and directs all members, players, caddies and patrons in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
• Maintains full knowledge of all menu, bar selections and standardized abbreviations on orders.
• Places orders into the kitchen and communicates any special requests.
• Serves food and beverages using the proper sequence of service and serving techniques suggesting desserts, coffee and other menu items after meal.
• Remains attentive to patrons during the dining experience, providing patrons with any additional items as needed.
• Sets tables according to restaurant standards.
• Ensures safety, cleanliness, sanitation and presentation of all restaurant and kitchen spaces.
• Completes all opening, closing and side work duties.
• Attends all pre-meal meetings as requested by the Restaurant Supervisor.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintains the confidentiality of all Club business.
• Demonstrates a commitment to upholding professional standards in the work environment.
• Performs other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job.
• Attends mandatory orientation and training sessions.
• Required to work schedule as defined by department to include holidays, weekends and overtime as needed.
