You will collaborate with machinists and engineers to optimize toolpaths, feeds and speeds, and setup sheets, while maintaining post and revision history and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years programming CNC turning (aerospace, defense, or medical).
• Mastercam proficiency; Gibbs/CAMWorks/SolidWorks familiarity is a plus.
• Strong command of machining processes, materials, and quality standards.
• Clear, effective collaboration with machinists, engineers, and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Program creation & optimization in Mastercam for complex turning work across 2–4 axis lathes.
• Blueprint & model interpretation using ASME Y14.5 GD&T to define tolerances.
• Launch & troubleshooting with machinists to prove out and stabilize processes.
• Maintain CNC programs, posts, setup sheets, and revision history.
