Job summary

CIRCOR Aerospace & Defense is seeking a CNC Programmer at its Warren, MA facility. This role writes and optimizes CNC programs for turning and milling, using G-code and CAM software, and helps establish setup procedures and machining standards.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Programming is a plus; HS diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience programming and machining; CAD experience required; CAM experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop CNC programs based on processes from manufacturing engineer.
• Assist in developing processes with operators and engineers.
• Read and interpret GD&T on drawings.
• Identify opportunities to optimize CNC programs.
• Know cutting tool geometries, coatings and applications.
• Create tool lists, part routings, and update programs.
• Prepare documents to set up machines.
