Job summary

Allied Mechanical in Ontario, CA is seeking a CNC Programmer to develop and optimize 3‑ to 5‑axis programs for aerospace/defense components. You will work with Mastercam, Vericut and other CAD/CAM tools to generate toolpaths, verify programs, and ensure precision and cycle-time improvement across large castings and complex assemblies.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in precision machined components
• Proficient with CAD/CAM software and programming
• Experience with aerospace/defense industry standards (GD&T, AS9100) preferred

Responsibilities

• Create CNC programs (3‑axis, 4‑axis, multi‑axis) for milling/turning of complex parts
• Use CAD/CAM software to generate toolpaths and verify programs
• Manage large components, tools, fixturing and machine capacity to meet production needs
• Simulate toolpaths and refine to optimize cycle time and quality
• Develop setup sheets, tool lists and release documentation
• Support first articles and initial production runs to validate performance
• Collaborate with engineering and production for tooling and fixturing improvements
• Maintain program library with revision control and documentation
• Ensure compliance with AS9100, ITAR, and customer standards
