Job summary

Irby Construction Company seeks a Master Trainer to elevate training standards across transmission and distribution power line construction. You will deliver technical, compliance-based training in classrooms and active field environments, coaching crews, apprentices, and supervisors.

This is a field-based role with extensive travel across the United States, requiring strong safety leadership and curriculum development.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on technical training experience in transmission and distribution power line construction.
• Experience delivering classroom and field training to crews at multiple levels.
• Ability to implement training programs aligned with OSHA standards and company practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and hands-on field training across utility construction disciplines.
• Coach crews, apprentices, and leaders in safety, technical competency, and field execution.
• Develop and maintain curricula, job aids, and field reference materials.
• Travel nationwide to Irby project locations to support training needs.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
