We are opening a new car dealership in Tampa, FL, and are seeking a Master Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain service operations by inspecting and maintaining vehicles.
2. Ensure equipment availability by inspecting and testing vehicles, completing preventive maintenance such as engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotations and changes, wheel balancing, filter replacements, brake replacements, spark plugs, wheel bearings, fuel systems, and sensors.
3. Test systems and individual parts to ensure proper functioning and evaluate damage.
4. Maintain vehicle functionality by addressing operator complaints, conducting inspections, repairing engine failures, and fixing mechanical and electrical system malfunctions, including replacing parts and components.
5. Verify vehicle serviceability through test drives and adjustments of controls and systems.
6. Comply with state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards.
7. Maintain vehicle records by documenting services and repairs.
8. Keep shop equipment operational by following instructions, troubleshooting, maintaining supplies, and performing preventive maintenance.
9. Manage costs effectively by utilizing warranties and evaluating service and parts options.
10. Enhance knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.
11. Support organizational goals by completing related tasks as needed.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.
