Job summary

Foss Motors Inc. is seeking a Master Technician to join our family-owned, high-volume service shop in Exeter, NH. You will perform repairs, conduct thorough diagnostics, and ensure quality workmanship for customers’ vehicles.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and continuous training in a fast-paced environment with a flexible schedule and access to specialty tools.

Qualifications

• ASE certified automotive technician.
• Strong automotive background.
• Excellent teamwork skills.
• Ability to identify problems quickly.
• Good knowledge of automobiles.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Able to learn new technology and repair procedures; operate diagnostic equipment.
• Clean and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on repair orders with efficiency.
• Test-drive vehicles and components using diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems (engine, transmission, electrical, brakes, A/C, etc.).
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional services and time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty per manufacturer specifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

REQUIREMENTS:

• ASE certified
• Strong automotive background
• Strong teamwork skills
• Ability to identify problems quickly
• Good knowledge of automobiles
• Effective analytical and communication skills
• Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
• Should be able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Must have clean & valid driver's license
