Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a senior professional to lead project labor relations on a major construction program in New Albany, OH. You will conduct complex employee-relations investigations, interpret contracts, enforce work rules, and participate in negotiations to maintain smooth project execution.

You will collaborate with local trades, implement process improvements, and produce LR/IR communications while supporting grievance hearings and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with labor unions, contracts and work-rule enforcement on large construction projects.
• Strong investigations, reporting, and grievance handling capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead project labor relations activities and investigations on a construction project.
• Interpret contracts, enforce work rules, and participate in negotiations.
• Facilitate positive labor relations to minimize work stoppages and delays.
• Work with local/regional building trades representatives on process improvements.
• Prepare written LR/IR/WFS communications and support grievance hearings.
