Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in heavy railcar mechanical or structural repairs.
• Comfortable reading repair standards and blueprints.
• Certified (or certifiable) welder in SMAW/FCAW/GMAW.

Responsibilities

• Restore critical structural components of railcars.
• Inspect and service couplers and draft gear.
• Troubleshoot and rebuild truck assemblies and wheelsets.
• Service air brake components and run full brake tests.
• Adhere to safety protocols and document work accurately.
