Job summary

PSC Group is seeking a Mobile Railcar Repair Technician to join a safety-focused team. This full-time role requires frequent travel (50–75%) to inspect, repair, and prepare railcars for inspections, following FRA, AAR, ARS, and customer standards.

On-site tasks include welding, cutting, and operating heavy equipment with strict safety and quality controls. Experience is a plus but not required; on-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• Fluent English in speaking, reading, and writing.
• Possession of a valid Driver's License and/or TWIC card depending on location.
• Must be 18 years or older and able to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Travel 50–75% to support railcar repairs and maintenance.
• Assist with tank qualification on railcars and inspect as needed.
• Perform and coordinate railcar repairs, welding, cutting, and gouging.
• Operate forklift/telehandler as required and ensure safety rules are followed.
• Prepare railcars for inspections and interpret work orders/blueprints.
