Job summary

PSC Group is hiring full-time Railcar Repair Technicians to safely handle heavy equipment, railcars, and tracks while completing repairs. Join a company that values safety, training, and employee development as part of a long-term career.

Responsibilities include interpreting work orders from blueprints, welding and cutting, and ensuring quality standards (AAR/ARS). On-site work with a 12-hour day shift and strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• On-the-job training available; experience is a plus.
• May require a valid Driver's License and/or a TWIC card depending on location.
• 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
• Must pass a drug screen, physical, and background check.
• Fluent English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Regular on-site attendance and punctuality required.
• Military experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interpret work orders and follow blueprints to perform repairs.
• Use basic mechanical skills to weld, cut and gouge.
• Notify materials or equipment needed to complete tasks.
• Follow safety rules and ARS/EHS policies.
• Meet AAR, ARS and customer quality standards.
• Perform additional duties to complete tasks.
