Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent with field experience.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specs.
• Capable of following safety procedures on site.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lay-out and install piping systems per plans and specs.
• Read isometrics, measure, fabricate and install piping efficiently.
• Align, bolt and clamp components for welding.
• Assemble pipes, fittings and equipment by welding and threading.
• Position materials and install items per plans and specs.
• Identify material thickness and type of metal.
• Rig and move equipment safely.
• Operate beveling machines, grinders, pipe threaders and torches.
• Layout and install equipment, vessels, pumps, pipe and supports.
• Estimate sizes, distances and quantities for work activities.
• Inspect subordinate work for contract compliance and correct as needed.
